The Employer shall employ the Employee, who agrees to the same, in accordance with the conditions set out below. The said employment shall be subject to the satisfactory results of a medical examination.
The Employee formally declares that he is not bound by a non-competition clause whatsoever preventing him from working for the Employer. Any false statement in this respect would subject the Employee to liability for damages, in particular pursuant to Article L.1237-3 of the French Labour Code.
The Employee will inform the Employer immediately of any modification of the information given at the time of his hiring (address, family status, number of children, etc.).
According to the law of 6 January 1978, the Employee has a right of access to and correction of the information mentioned in this contract.

Source text - English Abandonment Liabilities means all Claims, Losses and Liabilities arising from or in connection with the abandonment of the Interests, Facilities and/or any other property and facilities acquired pursuant to or in connection with the Interests or any of them whether by way of demolition, removal, destruction, conversion, placement on temporary or permanent care and maintenance or other basis, or any similar action or conduct and all other action or conduct as necessary to comply with all applicable laws in the Republic of Cameroon, the requirements of any Government Agency having jurisdiction in the Republic of Cameroon and/or good oil field or industry practices.
14.4 Delayed Payment
Without prejudice to any other rights under this Agreement, if any amount payable under this Agreement (other than pursuant to Clauses 14.1, 14.2 and 14.3) is not paid when due, the defaulting Party shall pay interest on a daily basis on such amount from the due date of payment (after, as well as before, judgement) at a rate equal to three (3) percentage points over the Agreed Rate.

14.4 Retard de paiement
Sans préjudice de tout autre droit acquis en vertu du présent Contrat, si toute somme exigible en vertu du présent Contrat (autrement que conformément aux articles 14.1, 14.2 et 14.3) n'est pas payée à échéance, la Partie défaillante doit payer des intérêts journaliers sur le montant de base à compter de la date d'exigibilité du paiement (que ce soit avant ou après tout jugement intervenu en la matière) à un taux égal à trois (3) points de pourcentage de plus que le Taux contractuel.

Brief Presentation:
I am a French native speaker with a postgraduate in Law and another one in Modern Languages.
I offer you to benefit from my:
- three years work experience as a business law consultant; and
- fourteen years work experience as a freelance translator
in order to get the best translation services from English and Spanish to French.
I am also proficient in:
- Trados Studio, Multiterm and TagEditor.
My Job:
I mostly work in the legal and financial fields. The translation jobs I undertake involve corporations (financial reports, press releases, sales terms and conditions, license agreements, etc., for companies like Apple, AirBnb, KPMG), public institutions (CJEU, ECB, Translation Centre for the Bodies of the European Union) or individuals (i.e. CVs or employment contracts). I also work directly with the Court of Justice of the European Union since 2014.
Here are some examples of documents I recently translated:
- 525 pages (more than 130,000 words) translated from English to French for the Court of Justice of the European Union in 2016.
- English to French translation of the articles of a company (7,500 words).
- English to French translation of a yearly report about the internal transactions of a group of companies operating in the luxury market (42,000 words).
- English to French translation of a maintenance agreement for wind turbine generators (11,000 words).
