English to Arabic: An abstract about the contribution level of the mass media in increasing social acceptance of individuals with intellectual disability
Source text - English The study aimed to identify the contribution level of the mass media in increasing social acceptance of individuals with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder, and to identify the statistically significant differences between the responses of the respondents of the sample of the study on its primary focus that are related to the variables of (age – gender – educational qualification – type of mean – type of diagnosis). The study adopted the descriptive approach to achieve its objectives, as the sample of a study was chosen according to simple random sampling technique. the sample of the study included (403) parents of beneficiaries of Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Center for Special Education Support Services in Riyadh. The results stated that the contribution level of the mass media in increasing social acceptance of individuals with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder was low, and there were no statistically significant differences in the opinions of the sample of the study towards the contribution level of the mass media in increasing social acceptance of individuals with intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder according to the variables of age, educational qualification, gender and type of mean, while there are statistically significant differences in the opinions of the sample of the study according to the variable of type of diagnosis, which was for the sample of the study of parents with intellectual disability.
Translation - Arabic هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على مستوى مساهمة وسائل الإعلام في زيادة التقبل الاجتماعي لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية واضطراب طيف التوحد، والتعرف على الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة حول محورها التي تعود لمتغيرات (العمر - الجنس - المؤهل العلمي- نوع الوسيلة –نوع التشخيص)،اتعبت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة ،وتم اختيار عينة الدراسة بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وشملت عينة الدراسة (403) أولياء أمور مستفيدين مركز الأمير سلطان بن عبدالعزيز للخدمات المساندة للتربية الخاصة بمدينة الرياض، وكشفت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن مستوى مساهمة وسائل الإعلام في زيادة التقبل الاجتماعي لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية واضطراب طيف التوحد جاءت بدرجة منخفضة ، كما تبين عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في آراء عينة الدراسة نحو مستوى مساهمة وسائل الإعلام في زيادة التقبل الاجتماعي لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية واضطراب طيف التوحد باختلاف متغير العمر و المؤهل العلمي والجنس ونوع الوسيلة . بينما توصلت الدراسة إلى أن هناك فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في آراء عينة الدراسة نحو مستوى مساهمة وسائل الإعلام في زيادة التقبل الاجتماعي لذوي الإعاقة الفكرية واضطراب طيف التوحد باختلاف متغير نوع التشخيص، لصالح أفراد عينة الدراسة من أولياء الأمور ذوي الإعاقة الفكرية.
