Translation - English Approximately 500 first-time patients visit the department every year, where we diagnose disorders of the hematopoietic system, and provide care from the primary level through the terminal, including administering state-of-the-art hematopoietic stem cell transplants. The number of hematopoietic stem cell transplants totaled 116 cases at the end of 2008. We also conduct peripheral stem cell harvest procedures, non-related donor bone marrow harvests, non-related donor bone marrow transplants, umbilical-cord blood transplants, myeloablative bone marrow allotransplants (namely mini-transplants) to minimize pre-transplant procedures.

Experience
Years of experience: 32. Registered at ProZ.com: May 2010.
I am a freelance English <> Japanese translator/interpreter located in Southern California. I have many years (16) of experience working in an automotive industry as translator/interpreter. My recent interest is working as a visual-media translator in the area of anime, films and documentaries having successfully completed an audio-visual course at Japan Visualmedia Translation Academy in 2009.
Having studied languages at UCLA (Spanish & French), I am very much interested in the etymology of words and find myself happiest when I am working on translation jobs.
Though my background is mostly automotive, I have worked in a broad range of fields including but not limited to business management, legal, finance, medical, marketing, market research, advertisement, journalism, psychology, sociology, cinema and general-interest areas.
