Hebrew is Ima Dec 13, 2008

but if you are feeling more emotional/loving it's the diminutive "Imaleh". My 4 year old has taken it one step further and if she wants something it's "Imush" or "Imalush".

In Dutch it is Mamma or Mammie or Mam for short. There is also Moes or Moesje and there may be regional variations as well.

it's 'Mama', 'Mami' or also 'Mutti' (I guess shortening the word "Mutter" = "mother")

mother = majka, mati, mater

mom = mama, mamica

"majka" can be used for both, mother and grandmother but then the vocative case would be:

"majko" if it means "mother"

and

"majka" if it means "grandmother"

Mother - matka
Mama is simply mama (vocative "mamo")
Mummy - "mamusia", "mamunia"

There are also other forms "mateczka", "matula", "matusia", "maminka" etc. but they are not as popular as the other ones, some of them are more old-fashioned or appear mainly in literature.
