I owe my current skills as a translator to the generous support and guidance of several colleagues who shared their knowledge and experience with me. It would therefore be a rewarding experience to become a mentor and give something back. In addition, as I have informally mentored some friends who were interested in the profession, I believe I am well-suited to be a mentor.
