I am not disputing the previous translator's suggestions. However, I think in teh US the word "vacation" is more frequently used than "holiday". I think "holiday" is a more commonly used in British English.
Also, I not positive of the translation of "semestertillägg". I am not sure it something one can get here in the US. It is sort of added vacation compensation. It is part of the calculated vacation pay that you recieve. I believe it is an additional 8% of your monthly pay
