neutral Jim Tucker (X) : those would appear to be articles translated from other languages(the NIH is Italian and the Springer is Dutch quack medicine); when googling, best to ignore those. I only get 50-some hits for the phrase in quotes - not likely to be correct

indolent ulcers

Diabetic leg/foot ulcers are never described as torpid in English, but indolent is sometimes used to describe chronic and relatively painless ulcers.
