In an article on the liquor trade in Colombia, the word "sabajón" appears alongside cremas, ponches, aperitifs, etc. And "mistelas", which I find explained in dictionaires, but nowhere can I find "sabajón" even in the RAE. Can someone give me a translation for "sabajón" - or at least a description? Many thanx

eggnog
In Colombia it is a popular drink. It is made with egg and our popular drink "aguardiente" (fire water) adding spices such as cinnamon. It is usually drunk around Christmas time or at family gatherings.

just an aside - everyone above is correct but in Mexico we have rompope which is the same concoction - tastes like eggnog.
