Today we celebrated my papiringo’s (dad, I also heard that it meant “pimp” in some Latin American places, including some parts in Mexico) 50th birthday. Fifty! He was pretty chirpy, so it wasn’t a sad birthday. He’s usually sentimental or just grouchy, but today he was… ok. We bought him an ice cream cake, and we split it in 4 sections, since it’s only us four living in the house now.
