dispositivo de la sentencia

Estoy traduciendo un informe que un bufete de abogados le envía a uno de sus clientes con respecto a un caso penal. Hubo un accidente de tránsito que fue ocasionado por el trabajador de la empresa XXX. Los familiares de las personas que fallecieron a consecuencia del accidente están demandando a la empresa XXX y a la aseguradora de la empresa.

"El **dispositivo de la sentencia** declara expresamente “perimido el procedimiento de resarcimiento de Daño material y Daño Moral en contra de XXX.”. Igualmente declara EXTINGUIDA LA INSTANCIA".

Quisiera saber si se trata tan solo del contenido de la sentencia como tal o si significa algo más y cómo se traduce.

CONTEXT In legal questions, and many others as well, it is ALWAYS necessary to know both the origin and the destination. In some it may matter less than in others, but it is still mandatory CONTEXT.

It is explaining how the order shall operate, but you can omit "operation".
"the order expressly provides that....." makes perfect sense
