When entering new questions, KudoZ askers are given an opportunity* to classify the difficulty of their questions as 'easy' or 'pro'. How to tell the difference between "easy" and "pro" questions:
An easy question is one that any bilingual person would be able to answer correctly. (Or in the case of monolingual questions, an easy question is one that any native speaker of the language would be able to answer correctly.)
A pro question is anything else... in other words, any question that requires knowledge or skills that are specialized (even slightly).
Another way to think of the difficulty levels is this: an easy question is one that deals with everyday conversation. A pro question is anything else.
When deciding between easy and pro, err on the side of pro. Most questions will be pro.
* Note: non-member askers are not given the option of entering 'pro' questions; the only way for their questions to be classified as 'pro' is for a ProZ.com member or members to re-classify it.

Here I add some of the many e-mails I have received in reply to my cover letter and CV from people who did not know me (I'm not saying "Yours sincerely" or the other standard options are not correct, I'm just adding something that I thought may be helpful to Paulina, based on my real life English usage experience (since in my case, at least, no teacher had ever taught me that while a I was student):

: I would leave it out but if you must put Yours truly/faithfully. In the UK at least 'sincerely' is reserved for personal communications and if I received a CV with sincerely I would assume the person was not familiar with basic English usage.

Discussion
If it's a cover letter and you know the person's name you're sending it to, then I would sign off with 'Sincerely/Sincerely yours for the US (which I presume it is, as you're using the word 'resume' as opposed to CV). If you don´t know the name of the person and are using 'Dear Sir / Madam' then we would sign off differently, with 'yours faithfully' (this is for the UK anyway, but maybe it's something similar for the US?)
