Hi Sorina. It's not clear to me from the context whether it is the rate or the payment amount that is being staggered/scaled. In the U.S. it could be either one or both. I.e., a "graduated payment" plan. In some cases, it is a "fixed rate" loan, but the rate is only fixed for a specific period, after which it may change; and the rate/payment may also change according to factors such as whether the student is still in school, part-time, full-time, or graduated and now earning and how much. See the following link for more details: http://www.finaid.org/loans/repayment.phtml There may not be a direct equivalent translation. So perhaps a facsimile with some descriptive language, depending upon who will be reading it. Suerte!

meaning at an increased, rather than fixed interest rate - I imagine they will always be paid by instalments.

Schedule 2 or Schedule 3

Since it's unclear just what the 'escalonado' refers to, 'schedule' would cover either or both possibilities plus others. It's also pretty common terminology for this sort of sliding-rate and adjustable-payment arrangements.
