baseflow or base flow (Q90)

Base flow is sustained, low or fair-weather flow of a stream; base flow generally is derived from groundwater inputs to the stream channel.

For this study we have selected the Q90, or the flow value exceeded 90 percent of the time, as the low-flow parameter.
