Hi Alvaro: I don't mind sharing with Yasser and whomever else happens upon this question. I think this question could have gone either way as far as pro/non-pro, but it really isn't a big issue for me. I just don't want the cheap "non-pro" points. Best.
Yasser El Helw (asker) Dec 13, 2006:
Robert & Alvaro, thank you both for your help. I feel guilty for posting such an easy question. I had to make sure there was no other South American meaning for "pinzas". I will try hard not to upset Michelle next time!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tongs. Please read "serving tongs" and not "sering tongs" above.
Bob: you might want to exhange views privately with Michele rather than with Yasser - just a thought. Regards to all. Álvaro :O) :O)
moken Dec 13, 2006:
Hi Yasser. Agree with "tongs". You could specify "kitchen tongs" or "sering tongs" according to use and in opposition to "sugar tongs" or the likes. Couple of refs for tongs-freaks: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-kitchen-tongs.htm and...
Robert Forstag Dec 13, 2006:
Yasser: "Tongs" is most likely correct, but I've withdrawn the answer because I really do not want "non-pro" points in my main language pair.

Best regards,

Bob
