Spanish term

por humedad ambiental

Spanish to English Tech/Engineering Construction / Civil Engineering Sealants, waterproofing
Spain. Not sure how to put this, nor do I understand how it can dry out "por" absolute/atmospheric humidity [if that is the right term].

rutita your "dries out by athmospheric humidity" should be posted as an answer, so that it could help more users, I think.
neilmac (asker) Nov 27, 2010:
Why isn't there a "reverse pair" button on the query page?
Ruth Wöhlk Nov 27, 2010:
spanish to english, I suppose?
so it's enough to say dries out with/by atmospheric himidity

(cures by reacting with) ambient humidity

Even though the answer wasn't as dry as it could be, consider some misunderstanding on my side.
Saludos, Juan
Note from asker:
Yes, and shouldn't it be "se seca" if the verb is intransitive? My query was really about the use of "por" because in English I'd say "at" or "in"...
