The phrase is taken from a letter on DDR, a new computer system for a Spanish bank. The writer is complaining about the shortcomings of a report which he feels is missing information and the full sentence (bullet point) is:

"Sistemas a los que aplica que no vemos en el DDP, NEMO."

The writer comments on this point "pueden explicarnos qué información tienen para asegurar que este sístema está impactado?"

But you would be totally justified in asking your agency/customer for more info - it is never reasonable to expect a translator to just know what TLAs mean!!

Aha - DDP sounds like document version DDP Version 5.1 could indeed be a system, but in this context it leads me to believe it is a prior document in the requirements analysis process, so 'Systems that this applies to that were not mentioned in the DDP, NEMO' etc.

It sort of makes sense with the title, and explains the text, so:
'Systems that this applies to that were not in the DDP, NEMO'
'Can you explain on what information you are basing your assertion that this system will be impacted?'

DDP is never fully explained (nor is NEMO) but in another, related doc. I have seen "DDP Version 5.1" which leads me to beieve it is another system.
The part I'm struggling more with is: "Sistemas a los que aplica que no vemos en el DDP, NEMO". Thanks

Probably need more info Hi - I would want to understand what DDP and NEMO were - other systems? I have a suspicion that his question should read 'que este sístema NO está impactado', i.e. in the context of changes being made, on what basis are the system providers saying that existing systems (DDP, NEMO?) will not be impacted by the changes.

Some minutes ago, I read about this question that I didn’t see before when I answered to other questions from you.

I would like to mark something very important about computers, software and systems. Normally, in the computer environment when we don’t see a system (a program, a software, a set of programs, a set or routines) we say that the system is “not visible” for us.

Your original expression is: “Sistemas a los que aplica que no vemos”.

For me, this expression talks about systems (programming systems, programs or software) that are not visible in the monitor (display) or the user cannot see in a normal way, but there are active behind other systems working together in the computer.

In this case, we can translate your original expression from Spanish to English in this way: “systems it applies that are not visible in the DDP, NEMO”.
