Spanish term

Museo del Barro (Paraguay)

Spanish to English Art/Literary Art, Arts & Crafts, Painting Paraguay // Art/Historical Museum
How would you translate the name of this museum into English? My intention is to do so only once, in brackets, in the document I am working on. "Clay" is usually "barro cocido". "Mud museum" sounds strange and vaguely humorous.

Any suggestions? Below is part of the abstract of the article I've translated:

Museum of Pottery Clay

"barro" was and still is used by the indigenous culture (the Guanches) in the Canary Islands where I live, to make pottery without the use of a potter's wheel, shaping it by hand.
