Russian term

оживлять карст

Russian to English Science Geology
По вновь образовашимся трещинам и разломам в карст (karst) поступают воздух и флюиды, которые **оживляют карст** и побуждают его к действию. Дорожные конструкции над таким карстом со временем испытывают большие деформации.

bring karst to movement ??

trigger karst activity

I would say " air and fluids that trigger karst activity"

Here is one interesting article about karst:
Karst is a type of landscape found on carbonate rocks (limestone, dolomite, marble) or evaporites (gypsum, anhydrite, rock salt) and is typified by a wide range of closed surface depressions, a well-developed underground drainage system, and a paucity of surface streams. The highly varied interactions among chemical, physical and biological processes have a broad range of geological effects including dissolution, precipitation, sedimentation and ground subsidence.

Karst activity could be induced, but not by natural forces. Only human impact can INDUCE karst activity. :-)
