From a paper on labor induction...several references to Colos imaturos as well as colo cervical...I'm unsure how this should be translated...
Colos imaturos associam-se à falha de indução e elevado índice de cesária. Assim, a busca por um método que promova o amadurecimento cervical ao mesmo tempo em que estimula a contratilidade uterina associa-se a taxas de sucesso mais elevadas1. As prostaglandinas ocupam papel de destaque quando se refere à indução do trabalho de parto em gestantes com imaturidade do colo cervical.
