Esc. autora ... what does the Esc. mean? Not excelente, not escritorio .... at a loss

This is PT-BR but there is no content, it is not excriva, escritorio, escritura or anything else, it often appears before the claimant or plaintiff

Summary (report)

I think this is an abbreviation of "escólio" i.e. "comentário, esclarecimento, explicação, interpretação de um texto de lei ou pontos de doutrina". Esc. appears in law reports before the summary of the case, so it appears before autora, but I cannot find that it ever appears before ré, which supports my contention.
