one of a list of terms covered by an insurance policy - it´s obvious what it is but can anyone please give me the correct technical term?

In English, if I'm not mistaken... ... "vehicle" is usually assumed to be reference to such on land / ground. So, in an insurance policy, I wonder, when its says "veiculos terrestres", if its really necessary to say "ground/terrestrial/land driven/etc." or if it can omitted.
