Portuguese term

Mc.

Non-PRO Portuguese to English Social Sciences Certificates, Diplomas, Licenses, CVs Marriage Certificate from Brazil
The term "Mc." is found in the following context, at the bottom of a Marriage Certificate, from Maringá, in Paraná, in this way:

Observações: Nada consta. Mc.

I have translated this as:
Notes: None.

But what is "Mc."? Alguem sabe o quê quer dizer "Mc." aquí? Does anyone have any idea what "Mc." could stand for in this context? It's maddening. It's probably something really easy, probably something any native speaker of Portuguese would know, and I'll feel like an idiot when I find out what it is, but I must inquire. I have already turned the translation in, and they said it was OK without knowing what that meant, but it would be good to know anyway!

Muito agradecido pela ajuda,
Gustavo

Mc.

Provavelmente se trata das iniciais da pessoa que certificou nada constar.
Note from asker:
Exatamente! Eu também pensei que talvez se trataria de iniciais. Mas queria ter a opinião de falantes nativos. Muito obrigado...
