Na czym polega zgrzewanie polifuzyjne?
Zgrzewanie polifuzyjne to metoda łączenia rur i kształtek polegająca na podgrzaniu końcówki rury i kształtki do odpowiedniej temperatury za pomocą zgrzewarki polifuzyjnej (a konkretnie trzpienia i tulei) a następnie są łączone ze sobą mechanicznie na wcisk. Końcówka rury, kształtka oraz narzędzie grzewcze skorelowane są w taki sposób, że podczas zgrzewania uzyskuje się siłę wymaganą do wytworzenia jednorodnego połączenia. Technologia zgrzewania polifuzyjnego zapewnia szybką pracę przy wykonywaniu trwałych połączeń.

Streszczenie. W artykule opisano moŜliwości wykorzystania techniki termowizyjnej
do oceny rozkładu temperatury na powierzchni narzędzi grzewczych zgrzewarek
do tworzyw sztucznych oraz nagrzanych powierzchni elementów zgrzewanych.
Badaniom poddano zgrzewarki doczołowe, mufowe oraz promienniki podczerwieni.
Wykazano korelację pomiędzy rozkładem temperatury na powierzchni elementów
grzewczych a rozkładem temperatury na nagrzewanych powierzchniach zgrzewanych.
Jakość uzyskiwanych zgrzein istotnie zaleŜy od równomiernego nagrzania łączonych
elementów.
THERMOVISION IN ASSESSMENT OF PLASTICS WELDING
PROCESSES
Sumary. Paper presents application possibilities of thermovision technique
to evaluate temperature distribution on heating tools surfaces of plastics welding
machines and temperature distribution on heated surfaces of welded parts. Butt fusion, socket fusion and infrared fusion machines were tested. Interrelation was shown between temperature distribution on heating tools and welded parts surfaces.

Socket fusion is a fast and easy way to assemble piping systems. Aquatherm's socket fittings fuse over the pipe wall, making the joints the strongest part of the entire system. Socket fusion uses hand-held welding irons and is used for pipe and fittings ½" to 4" in diameter.

A proper socket fusion involves cutting the pipe, marking it for insertion depth, heating the pipe and fitting for a specified time, and then pushing them together to cool. The fittings are specially sized to create enough pressure with the pipe for a proper fusion. Once cool, the pipe and socket fitting become a single piece with no potential leak path.

Socket fusion can be performed by hand or with the help of fusion assistance machines. In sizes larger than 2", using another installer to assist with the fusion or welding machine will help make the connection faster and more consistent
