Stock Issue Confirmation (CI) (Buyer Expenditure, Seller Revenue)


Once requested stock items are released and issued by the seller, the net accounting effect recognizes revenue for the seller (if the warehouse is able to recognize revenue) at the unit price multiplied by the quantity of the stock items, and the expense of inventory at cost. In terms of the buyer, an expenditure/expense is recognized for the same amount, and the pre-encumbrance created by the Stock Requisition (SR) document is reversed.
