now it is clear... Ok now I see where izaphetic comes from. Actually, ezafe comes from Arabic, where the call it "edhafa" and it is used in a genitive way, like in Persian, for example "daughter-aunt-my", but in Arabic it isn't used as in Persian as a modifier (book-big-red-my)

Ezafe I really wanted to ask what the proper name of "izaphet" was, thanks for the explanation.
However in Russian and Georgian the term "изафет/izaphet" is established, -t is added to ezafe.

Ezafe Construction In most contemporary Western accounts for Persian language, the mentioned construction is simply referred to as 'Ezafe construction'. See for example Windfuhr (2009). This is the construction in which two names connect together using the short vowel 'e', grammatically called Ezafe.

Mr. Plaisance, thank you, I also was thinking that it was جد + م but for some reason I decided it couldn't have been "my grandfather", I was confused and was looking for جدم as for a whole word.
As for "izaphetic", this term is widely used in Georgian and Russian grammar books of the Persian language, for instance:
rasul-e khoda - "e" is called izaphet;
rasul-e khoda - is an "izaphetic construction";
dokhtar-e rasul-e khoda - is an "izaphetic chain".
Persian to Russian dictionary by Rubinchik has a good review of the Persian grammar in Russian, where this term is frequently used.

reason you didn't find it... Sofia, if you were looking up جدم you would't find it...but if you look up جد you will find it...here we have "jadd+am" = my ancestor

Praise be to... In my view, the best equivalence for درود بر is "praise be to...". If you google, for example, "praise be to Muhammad", you will find many instances.

Praise be to my ancestor / forefather, the greatest of the Prophets.

Thank you! But what confuses me here is the "izaphetic construction" and the word رسولان, is it correct to say: blessing upon my ancestor, ancestor of the prophets.
