: Yes - I don't think we'd say "upon emailing" here//this is another case of native knows best. "Upon ...ing" *isn't* incorrect and we never said it was incorrect, it just isn't right HERE! Think BBC documentaries 50 years ago.Doesn't work with e-mail IMO
