The following sentence is part of a document on the benefits of Blueberry juice:
effetti di aumento della tonicità delle vene, diminuzione della permeabilità capillare e prevenzione delle microemorragie, particolarmente pericolose a livello dell’irrorazione della retina.
I am not sure about the irrorazione della retina part -- especially dangerous .....

It just means the blood supply to the retinas, so in your case you could just say something like "micro-haemorrhages, particularly dangerous in the retinas".

Or (depending on how far you're comfortable with moving away from the original) you could use burst capillaries or burst blood vessels instead of micro-haemorrhages, as that's what they're talking about.
