: sorry! but nursing refers only to nurses. Here it refers to the care provided by the hospital/Ok! but here "assistenziale" doesn't refer only to staff'work

staff workload
Here "carico assistenziale" means the overall workload of the hospital staff related to nursing, support and assistance. It increases with patient number and patient age because older patients require more care. The "nursing load" solution is ok but maybe "staff" may include also paramedics and other staff.

: Sono più per questa espressione. In inglese "Care" si usa molto in ambiente sanitario, "nursing" mi sembra troppo specifico.
