Italian term

accumulatori per batterie stazionarie

Italian to English Tech/Engineering General / Conversation / Greetings / Letters History of business entrepreneurs
I can see that literally this says accumulators for stationary batteries. But how would we describe this in English? Just "stationary accumulators"?

"...( poi fabbrica di accumulatori xxx di Montecchio Maggiore che produceva accumulatori per batterie stazionarie per avviamento o trazione, veicoli a trazione elettronica e accumulatori) e le ....

@ All Thank you for your help. Unfortunately the literal translation did not work at all, though it is grammatically without errors, it has no technical meaning.
I have used "stationary, starter and traction accumulators"

@ Ellen I do not speak German.
Anyway, if an accumulator is a battery (of a kind), then how can you say "accum.'s FOR batteries" i.e. for batteries to do what if the accumulator is the battery ?
Ellen Kraus Oct 2, 2016:
to make a long story shorter: difference between accu and battery:
Während im Englischen kein Unterschied zwischen Batterie und Akku gemacht wird, ist es gebräuchlich, aufladbare Zellen als Akku zu bezeichnen und nicht aufladbare als Batterie. thus: accumulator is a rechargeable battery, but not all batteries are rechargeable, or those which are not rechargeable are called batteries.
Lara Barnett (asker) Oct 2, 2016:
@ Helen But an accumulator is a type of battery. When I google "accumulators for stationary batteries" (in inverted commas, therefore keeping the wording in this order), nothing comes up in the search. If you do google this without the inverted commas the wording in this order does not appear, other sentences such as "accumulators, batteries and ...." etc.
Helen Pringle Oct 2, 2016:
@ Lara If you google accumulatori per batterie stazionarie and accumulators for stationary batteries - look at the images for both: they are the same!
Lara Barnett (asker) Oct 1, 2016:
@ Helen I understood that accumulator was a type of battery. This is why I am having trouble understanding "accumulatori per batterie stazionarie". Do you have any idea about wording this phrase? Maybe one or two words are redundant in English?
Helen Pringle Oct 1, 2016:
accumulators An accumulator is a type of charger. You could even say "charger" but I think "accumulator" is more specific.
Lara Barnett (asker) Oct 1, 2016:
accumulators for stationary batteries ??? "...which produced accumulators for stationary, starter or traction batteries, traction-powered electric vehicles... etc"
Could that be it?
I need a good term for "accumulators" I think, is an accumulator not a type of battery?
