Not knowing... I'm old so I remember hearing the word eidotype used during my draughting lessons in first year university. It meant any scale drawing for a project, often like an architect's sketch in various media. More recently, computer produced imaging - in particular for 3D models - called eidomatics has become trendy, and the word has been revived. These types of images would be the same as an artist's 'rendering.' I would even suggest this as an answer, but haven't a clue really how they're using the word here - so I have to agree to the literal translation of 'eidotype.' But only old people like me and maybe a few computer graphics experts will know what it means.
