Italian to English Science Chemistry; Chem Sci/Eng testing for identification and titration of chemical compound

Under a heading "Campi di applicazione" (contexto:vedi Write-in field above)

"La preparazione delle soluzioni di riferimento e campione deve essere effettuata immediatamente prima dell’uso.
Il sistema HPLC deve essere condizionato per almeno 30 minuti prima di effettuare le misurazioni"

for another use of this term ('condizionato') in the same document:

"Condizionare il sistema con la fase mobile (previa filtrazione e degasatura) per circa 30 min ed assicurarsi che la linea di base dello strumento sia stabilizzata (± 0.001 abs)."

I find only one relevant, identical hit when Googling the first phrase (cf. https://www.google.com/search?q="the preparation of the solu... Though it seems it could be legitimately used in that sense after all. However, there is perhaps a better way of putting it. Anyone know it?
