Un abbraccio (da noi tutti)
Dear Juli,
There's no need to translate literally, really. From personal experience this is a kind, nice way to write that in a letter. Literally "Hugs!", it implies affection and warmest regards. You can add "da noi tutti" if you want the hugs to come from all the family or friends, as in "we ALL send you warmest regards!".
This is how I would put it in Italian :)
Hope it helps,
Flavio

i più affettuosi saluti
Beh, dipende da che tipo di lettera.
ma to send one's love to s.o. = mandare saluti affettuosi a qcu.

please note that there are two words for "love" in Italian:
amore (sexual relationship)
affetto (non sexual, family relations and friends)
Con = with

: right, but the word "amore" doesn't necessarily imply sex!We use to say amore also for maternal love, christian love...

Agreed, but in fact you would qualify "amore" with the adj. "maternal" and "christian". Just to show the difference!
