I think 'ya sudahlah' is sometimes used to signify an end to a discussion. This can happen when one party is not prepared to give a logical explanation of their position but merely repeats an assertion. Even if the other party does not agree, they might withdraw from the discussion if their opponent seems unprepared to move or even consider a reasoned argument. 'If you say so' is a slightly sarcastic way of putting this in English.
