Could you please explain what is grammatically wrong in the translation I have given.
I agree with you that \"aap\" can be and is used when addresseing ppl from all age groups.
Though, I should not comment on your Hindi language ability, but I strongly object to your statement -

\"Hai\", is a Crude form of asking a question.It should be \"Ho?\".

When using \'aap\', \'ho\' cannot be used. \'hain\' (with a nasal N) has to be used.
To clarify it, I am going to post it on Hindi(monolingual), please respond there.
