I frankly need more context. The previous translation was accurate, but the intent is unclear. For me the context is the American presence on Iraq's borders.

This is the literal meaning, but it is a take-off on the Biblical phrase from Proverbs 6:6 - "Go to the ant, you sluggard..." But without more context it isn't clear to me what characteristic of the Americans is referred to here!
