German term

IU-Diagramm

German to Spanish Tech/Engineering Energy / Power Generation sistemas de medición de energía solar
¿Cómo se dice en español? La I se mide en amperios y la U en voltios. Creo que la I se refiere a la intensidad y la U al voltaje.

Muchas gracias.

Discussion

Pablo Bouvier Nov 5, 2010:
@meirs What I said is "if it accomplishes Ohms law..." and «conductors are not always linear at all». They can be linear as not to be linear. You should know it already, because so far I can remember you said you were an engineer. You can read this at the references/samples I have given too.
meirs Nov 5, 2010:
@Pablo "curva característica" is OK - but IU is missing. "(de un conductor)" kills the answer because a regular conductor is a linear device, so no characteristic curve is needed to describe its IU behavior - it is U = I*R (Ohm's law as you said). So to summarize, you answer is 1/2 complete and 1/2 incorrect. IU characteristic curves are found with PV cells and battery charging.

curva característica I= f(U) de un panel solar

No es lineal y depende de la intensidad de iluminación solar y de las condiciones de la carga conectada.

si cumplen la ley de Ohm son rectilíneas, sino no.

agree Nani Delgado : Lo ves, Nani? ESO suena a algo más específico. Completamente de acuerdo contigo, Pablo! :)

Gracias Nani!
disagree meirs : English - Ohm's law does not need a curve - it is a straight line by definition. Here it is the IU curve of a solar panel (as source)
