This is encountered in a document describing the use of illustrations in medical manuals, however I don't think it is being used technically here and I can't work out what the author is getting at!
Here's the sentence: "Während der obligatorischen Trainingssitzung dürfen meist nur ganz bestimmte, zentrale Inhalte der CSII Therapie vermittelt werden, das sind in der Regel diejenigen Inhalte, die auch abgerechnet werden können. "

...however, I am not sure if it refers to the training or the procedures/products that will be presented during the training...

Many thanks, Birgit!! Yes, seen from the health insurer's perspective - but the 'können' in the German text refers to this view: you can bill what you want - the insurers determine what they will pay... ;-))

claimed

I think they refer to those components of the therapy, which can also be claimed - probably from the medical aid system.
