Medical
Medical: Cardiology
In einer Tabelle eines Herkatheterprotokolls steht:
Implantierte Stents:

The definitions in the glossary are atmosphere and bar; somehow I don't think either of these would be correct here. Thanks for your input

The glossaries are right (IMO). I've seen "bar" describing the level of pressure in inflatable medical devices. Aren't stents brought into form with balloons (see: http://www.endolab.de/implantat/gefaess/pi_16.htm)?

Of course, they aren\'t \"brought into form\", but \"deployed\"...
Also see: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed&cmd=... AND http://www.google.de/search?q=cache:K6jmrw2Y11QJ:www.device....
