However, I do not think this fits the context and I do not thiunk there is a 'short and sweet' translation. I would translate it as follows:
"... the production progress of a producer is monitored efficiently and as close as possible to the time of production."

"near-time" (adjective) is the most common translation of "zeitnah", however, I don't know if you'll be able to fit it into your sentence.
"with a minimum time lag" might fit better...

I like Dan's suggestions with up to the minute the best. Just another thought: to borrow coinage from accounting, where computers have made it possible in recent years to obtain "real-time" financial data (up-to-the-minute) versus having to wait for historical data in financial reports.
How about: we aim/our goal is to provide manufacturers with real-time monitoring of their production processes/sequences in as efficient a manner as possible.
