In a contract context, you're looking to a defined term, namely, the errors which the supplier is responsible for correcting. "Correctible error/defect" is not to be confused with one which LENDS ITSELF to correction, but rather, one which supplier has to fix before the client signs off.

I prefer to formulate the sentence a little differently (see below) to make it more suitable for a contract.

Error diagnosis and correction must be performed if the device operates incorrectly and the incorrect behaviour can be reproduced.

You can also replace \"error\" by \"fault\", depending on the situation. I tend to think of software errors and hardware faults.

A fault which must be corrected

.....actually needs working in as follows, for example:
"A fault the supplier must correct is deemed to be present when the device repeatedly fails to operate correctly".
