Discussion

tectranslate ITS GmbH Apr 19, 2004:
Ask the client.
Instinctively, I'd say it does not refer to a physical position but rather to an item in a list of documents to be burned on the CD-R. (i.e. in the same vein as Auftragsposition, Vertragsposition, Bestellposition etc.)
Non-ProZ.com Apr 19, 2004:
only other context I can offer is that a dossier is to be compiled and an electronic version burned on a CD-ROM for subsequent submission to health authorities. This specific information is required by a template.
tectranslate ITS GmbH Apr 19, 2004:
I have an idea already, but we'd really need more context.
If there is no other occurrence of Brennposition in the document you're translating, I'd highly recommend you ask the client. Anything else would be very speculative.
