Here's the context:
"in Bezug auf Ihre Anfrage vom 15. Juni 2006 teilen wir Ihnen mit, dass das o.g. Depot seit dem 20.10.2003 keine Bestände mehr aufweist.
Die in dem Depot verwahrten Genussscheine wurden zur XXXXX übertragen."
Would it be correct to say "... there has not been any funds in the above account since ...."?
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I'd avoid "balance" and "funds" because both of those would imply - to my ears at least - uninvested cash (as opposed to stocks, shares, options or whatever).
