German term

Heute der Gipfel, morgen der Abstieg

German to English Bus/Financial Economics press release
Konjunktur

I can't come up with a catchy headline for this press release.

Many thanks in advance for creative input!

Discussion

Nicole Schnell (asker) Apr 24, 2006:
Teresa, that's exactly the point: "Auch die Weltwirtschaft soll sich abschwächen.
Teresa Reinhardt Apr 24, 2006:
I am wondering if this is a veiled hint at the fact that Germany's economy is still limping along ("tomorrow's report") while the economic outlook for the world in general is stronger (the IWF report)

Today the mountain top, tomorrow the descent

Not very creative or catchy, I'm afraid, but it's a start :-)

The Highs and Lows of the Economy

Not all that snappy - what really sprang to mind was "Here today, gone tomorrow," but that's a bit too drastic

Up today, down tomorrow

Not a 100% match, but I think it expresses the idea and is reasonably short and snappy.
