Wir hoffen sehr, dass Sie uns auf Basis unseres Angebotes in den Kreis von Bietern der nächsten Runde aufnehmen und uns damit zur **bestätigenden Due Diligence** einladen.
I don't understand this term. To me, due diligence means something like 'kaufmänniche Sorgfalt', so I don't know what to do with 'bestätigend' or how to phrase this.

confirming due dilligence check
This may not be the "proper" expression but this is how I understand it: after the initial phase, two or three bidder (maybe more) are then checked closely, they have to undergo a due dilligence check. Those who don't pass it won't be considered as supplier.

: Spelling alert: "due dil*igence". Also, I'd use "due diligence exercise" or just d. d. See applicable definitions at http://www.tvp.com.au/resources/glossary.htm and http://www.westburypartners.com/perspective_process.html ("confirmatory due diligence").

Thank you! Of course you are right about the spelling, my apoligies! Now you mention it, "exercise" really seems the right expression - I am up to my ears in a "plastics translation" and that word obviously had disappeared from my memory ...
