I just don't get the idea of the last bit.
Wohlgemerkt Freunde!
Take note my friends! Whosoever believes that drawing can no longer play a roll in contemporary art, ultimately errs. When the big shindig is finally over and the time of the deceleration appears on the horizon after the culture of fun and the ?events then drawing comes into its own. *Drawing as circumstance, it obliges one to go into the deep and unhinges/takesout the wound up onex, will do some good.*

Selected
drawing as a state of being
... would be one possible approximation.
I don't particularly like "circumstance" here as this is rather an "Umstand".

Also, I\'d put \"... the time *of deceleration* appears on the horizon after the *culture of fun and events* ...\".

Comment: "Thanks all, I think it bears some more fiddling but as a point of orientation "state of being" helps it all to make some sense...er...some."

drawing as mode of existance
klingt ziemlich esoterisch, aber warum nicht?

factor, element
to which it befalls to.... (NOT a suggested translation, just a hint as to sentence structure)
which has to/is obliged to plunge the depths
The rest of the sentence also needs some work but I suppose this is a first draft?

: a good pointer, there, but your rendering of "obliegen" doesn't do it for me (although I certainly agree on your last point)
