Immovable property is denoted by property estate. The contents of whatever the items found inside a property are denoted by 'biens'.

I've never heard anyone speak of 'immovable property' since all buildings stay in the same place.

This sounds to me like a definition of two terms--(1) immeuble and (2) les biens... etc.--that may be used interchangeably in the document. In other words, I read it as "l'immeuble, also referred to as les biens et droits immobiliers, whose description follows..."

That makes sense because in plain English people sometimes say "I'm buying a house" or "I'm buying a building," but in legal terms, what they're actually buying is a piece of real property (building + land) and all the rights associated with it. So what you've got there is a reference to the everyday French term (immeuble) and also the legal-French term.

So. On to the actual translation: the first word isn't correctly translated by "real estate." The FR word for "real estate" is not "immeuble" but "immobilier."

Un bien immobilier is a piece of real estate or real property.

"Real estate or real property" is the equivalent of " L'immeuble ou les biens et droits immobiliers"

Real property as explained above is the real estate + rights.

Or you could rely on AllegroTrans and write "Real estate or real property and rights".
However that would read "Real estate or real estate and rights and rights".
I know, his spelling is a dead giveaway!
