The term surrection exists in French, and yes, it's pretty funky. I find traces of it in English as well (after wading through pages of resurrections) but am wondering: is it OK to use it??

As far as I know this a Joycian term (a Joycism, perhaps) which doesn't really exist elsewhere.
Unless your document is referring to Finnegans Wake, I would avoid "surrection" and find a more accepted alternative.
