French term

SET (here)

French to English Law/Patents Law (general) CONTRAT DE STOCK EN CONSIGNATION
Hi all.
Translating a Consignment Stock Contract for a company supplying toilet tank mechanisms. In the contract, whenever they mention any specific amount of these mechanisms to be supplied, the number is always followed by SET (call caps). Example :

"Les Parties ont convenu de maintenir les stocks à un niveau compris entre un seuil minimum de 5.000 SET par mois et un seuil maximum de 17.360 SET par mois... Il est toutefois précisé en tant que de besoin que (Party A) pourra livrer au maximum 8.680 SET par mois, soit 31 palettes de 280 SET , ce qui est accepté par (Party B)"

Any ideas on what "SET" could be ? I first I thought it could be a "set of mechanisms", but that wouldn't explain why it is in all caps... and in English :-)

Any insight is greatly appreciated.
Cheers !

No problem!

@phil, So sorry, I certainly didn't meant to give the impression that I was "no longer interested in the answer", but I didn't want to take up people's valuable time asking for help when the client already told me what to do and I figured other people's time could be used more productivley for themselves or helping someone else in greater need. My apologies.

I don't think you should close the question simply because you're no longer interested in the answer!

Thanks all the same Thanks everyone for your insights and helpful suggestions. Finally got the agency to call the client who simply told the PM that I should leave it as is, with no explanation of what it actually means.
Thanks all the same to everyone who took the time to reply.
Cheers !

It's used in Spanish, like "kit". And the plural can be with or without an S.

@phil That was my initial instince, but couldn't understand why they would put in English, in the singular and in all caps...
philgoddard Jan 17, 2017:
It has to be the English word, since the inside of a toilet cistern is a set of parts. They've probably put it in caps because it's foreign.

Context @Polyglot45 : Not really. I just gave you all the context there is. Those are the only occurrences of the term in the entire contract.
polyglot45 Jan 17, 2017:
stock equivalent ton(ne)s ??? doesn't the context help?
Shabelula Jan 17, 2017:
