French term

tiers-saisi

French to English Law/Patents Law (general) bankruptcy
A previous kudoz entry has this as "garnishee", but I want to double-check that would still be the case if I also have a party called "le saisi" which other proz members have suggested I also translate as "garnishee" in another post

Not sure if I could go for "third-party garnishee" and "garnishee"
Example from my text:

"La saisie-arrêt met ainsi en présence trois personnes :
- Le créancier saisissant, celui qui pratique la saisie ;
- Le saisi, créancier ou propriétaire des effets ou deniers, objets de la saisie.
- Le tiers-saisi, débiteur du saisi en mains duquel est pratiquée la saisie."
Proposed translations (English)
4 garnishee/third party
4 third-party debtor
3 garnishee

third-party debtor

What a garnishee is called in the UK since 1998 when, in the civil justice terminology etc. reforms no one else is referring to, garnishee orders were replaced by third-party debt orders.

Le saisi: the judgment or, more properly, the execution debtor.
Le créancier saisissant: " " " execution creditor.
