There is evidence to suggest that the translation is simply instantisation, but no source which seems to be reliable.

Instantanéisation
Lors de la dissolution de la poudre de lait dans l'eau en vue de la la reconstitution, les particules de poudre subissent divers processus:



1. Absorption d'eau à la surface (mouillabilité)
2. Pénétration d'un film d'eau vers la surface des particules
3. Enfoncement dans l'eau
4. Dispersion des particules sans formation de grumeaux
5. Dissolution des particules


L'instantanéisation de la poudre de lait a pour but d'améliorer la vitesse et l'intégralité de la reconstitution du lait. Grâce aux méthodes suivantes, il est possible d'améliorer quelques uns des processus mentionnés.

agree ormiston : I read my link to the end and the verb does indeed exist!Some powders III-Dairy-C-Milk Powder-5 are agglomerated and they may be instantised for easy use in the home.

Thanks for spray-dried, "sprayed into hot air" sounds a bit weird (that's what I had).
